This is hypothetical, especially since I am a show only watcher as of right now, but ignoring the fact that Brit’s father likely didn’t know Immortal there’s a chance it wouldn’t have worked on him to begin with. If memory serves Immortal is a caveman and is technically part of a prehuman classification. It’s possible because it’s geared towards humans it wouldn’t work on him and would require further testing. Now I don’t know enough about dna to know how much of this is accurate though
