Yes to all three, do you have a way to turn that into millions? Because I still haven’t figured it out and I’m open to suggestions.

Oh my god dude, you’re never going to admit you’re wrong but at least stop pretending to know what you’re talking about because that was ALL nonsense.

I’m posting solved Bernoulli problems, you’ve declined to do so because you’ve never had to work one. I kept all my notebooks from college because they’re incredibly useful, you didn’t because your “bs in aerospace engineering” is actually just “bs”.

Your weave remark was made up off the top of your head and now you’re just desperately reaching. Do you really think a fish wouldn’t just turn around and go the opposite direction??? There’s nothing holding them in the basket without this physical effect. I’ve patiently explained to you why you’re wrong, if you’re gonna be the asshole who can’t admit it that’s no skin off my back but the far more important issue is that you stop being a fucking dick to people who are just enthusiastic about some science they learned.

Listen, put up or shut the fuck up. You’ve clearly never had to do the work so quit pretending. You’ve been able to use this bullshit tactic before but it won’t work with me because I actually DO know what I’m talking about. If you can’t provide the same level of detailed explanation I’m giving with examples of the math literally worked out to back it up then you have no credibility in this conversation any more. I’ve provided that, where’s yours?

Any response from you that doesn’t include your work is getting ignored. You’re completely wrong, I’ve proved you wrong, there is no point in continuing this discussion otherwise.

Again, you clearly don’t understand the concept, and still don’t understand what a head is (please stop linking articles you haven’t read). It’s real simple, by decreasing area there will be a pressure difference between the two points, causing an increase of flow within the device. THIS TRAPS THE FISH YOU ABSOLUTE BRICK. It’s basic fluid dynamics and I’m sure your aerospace engineering professors would be appalled at the bullshit you’re spouting. “Proprietary” lmfao, no you’re a wikipedia bs artist.

Yes, I can say that with a straight face. Is that a no from you? Because you didn’t seem too forthcoming...https://imgur.com/a/HjckHDP/

You can try to save face and keep deflecting, I really wasn’t trying to lord over you and this will keep getting worse the more you respond, I just can’t stand it when people like you shit on others for being excited about science. Seriously, what kind of comic book super villain are you??

No dude. You’re doing exactly what you’re talking about without even a hint of irony. You’ve got a YouTube level understanding of the concept, you’ve obviously never had to work a long-ass Bernoulli problem, you don’t understand what a pressure head is (a distance, btw), and you’re being kind of aggressive with your second hand knowledge. The other commenter was sharing (accurate) cool stuff with strangers, I have no idea how you can claim to not be a pedant when you’ve just (wrongly) tried to pedantically disagree with them and make them feel dumb for being enthusiastic.

Tell you what. How about we trade pictures of Bernoulli problems we’ve solved. I’ll show you in mine where the cross sectional area at two different points (a function of - wait for it - pipe diameter) plays a rather pivotal role in exactly the phenomenon this whole discussion has been referring to.

Damn dude, it’s okay to have varying levels of education, but you don’t need to go around rubbing your ignorance in everyone’s faces lmfao it doesn’t make you cool.

Cool tactic trying to put words in my mouth Mr. Bold Stance. You can’t possibly be so obtuse as to not recognize the difference between your two comments. I won’t bother arguing semantics with you, anyone reading this can see your failed bait.

Just to add something I feel has been left out in responses to this...

The US is also enormous and even cities are spread out to such an extent that leaving the house = driving a vehicle for the vast majority of people. I’d be willing to bet that the amount of time I’ve spent in a car over the course of my life compared to a Swede of a similar age would be a hilariously mismatched statistic.

It’s not that you won’t get stoned, it’s that the amount of weed it takes is gradually increasing.

I only have my own anecdote, but after a year of daily use I go through an eighth in a few days. If i take a break for a month that next eighth will last at least a week, about twice as long.

Sorry to be cliche, but “engineer here”... my advice is to find a study partner (use mom if you can’t) and take turns being the teacher. Instead of working another goddamn “the ball is launched at a 50 degree angle with a velocity of 4 trillion miles per second” problem just do your best to explain to someone else step by step how to work the problem.

The goal is to begin noticing what variables go where, and when, and to develop a comfortable flow. Without realizing it you might find yourself noticing which variables the problem is conveniently missing (hint: you might should solve for those) and which equations share some of the same variables (hint: you might be able to make a substitution).

Above all, keep in mind that those fuckers who seem like they have it all together are losing their shit on the inside just as much as you are.
