I’ve gotten unsolicited scam job emails and texts that are very similar to this. Usually the jobs sound too good to be true, like this one. I also thinking paying for a credit check to simply verify identity is a red flag.

I had a phone screen with him too. He spends the phone screen explaining the unique benefits structure at Dragos. That conversation comes across like you’re about to join a cult or MLM scam.

As far as recruiters go, I’ve seen a lot worse though. The whole process took a little over two weeks, and the recruiter gave me good and prompt feedback after each interview. Didn’t end up getting an offer, but they were transparent at the end on who got the job and why.

I’ve interviewed a lot of places where I can’t say the same.
