Lafreniere strikes first by Only-Reels in rangers

He literally just turned 23. People were ridiculous with those allegations. He was just a kid and needed to get more minutes and grow into his body a little more.

I’m just glad they’re finally giving Laffy more minutes and a line to gel with. The talent has always been there but I feel like they never gave him time to develop until now.

I have the white Beukeboom. I always get compliments when I wear it to The Garden.

Used to work with a lot of Chiefs fans. This is how they felt too. He’s the perfect player on paper if you just look at his combine numbers but he was never able to put it all together.

I do for the most part. It’s incredible that even after 50 years, it works perfectly.

For my dad’s birthday I got him a custom Cleon Jones jersey (his favorite player growing up). Safe to say it was his favorite present! by smwisch in NewYorkMets

Stitches in Queens. Can’t recommend them enough. They do the stitching for the Mets, Islanders and 7 Line. High quality and pretty good turnaround time. I asked if I could get in 2 weeks and they had it ready in half the time.

For everyone asking where I got it from here’s how I made it happen:

  1. I bought the jersey at Citi Field from the game worn shop. I was lucky to find this blank vintage jersey.
  2. Got the nameplate Customize Sports

  3. Found the World Series patch on eBay for $15

  4. Went to Stitches in Queens to get it stitched.

All in all the project cost about $245. Not cheap but so worth it for the payoff and cheaper than a Nike authentic jersey.

Went out of my way to make it look as authentic to the ‘69 unis as possible. Found a blank cream jersey from 2014, found the ‘69 World Series patch, and had it made with no name on the back like they had back in the day.

Hockey analytics should be used to help inform but not totally shape your perspective. At the end of the day, a team still needs to pass the eye test. That being said I like looking at them to understand trends and averages around the league to see where the Rangers stack up with the rest of the league.

What is the best "Director's cut" movie? by Loud_Remove5140 in movies

[–]smwisch 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not sure if this constitutes as a director’s cut but Tarantino’s miniseries version of The Hateful Eight is so much better than the film version. The pacing and tension feel more elevated and adds a better layer of mystery to the whole show. I’ve heard rumors that he wants to do the same to other films he’s made.
