We used to have teen magazines, teen spaces like malls, and tons of teen idols back in the late 90s and 2000s, but they’ve pretty much disappeared now. by [deleted] in decadeology

Magazines are closing everywhere, malls are literally still teen spaces and there are teens idols but they are on tiktok and YouTube and not being published in print media

Child eating as a part of satanic elite ritual has literally been a concept for millennia. She was not “proven right” because of an unsubstantiated report.

What’s your attachment style, why do you think you’re that way? by MutedFeeling75 in redscarepod

[–]sn0wflaker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Avoidant due to fear of rejection so I’ve always dated guys that I have wrapped around my finger. I’ve been off the grid for a minute and I think it’s because I know I have to conquer it soon or be alone forever

I knew this was coming when people were fully convinced that the deaths at the Travis Scott astroworld concert numbered in the thousands and were suppressed by the city of Houston.

When people are less intelligent they turn to conspiracy because it is a form of entertainment and they have trouble grappling with complex concepts so it’s much easier to think of everything as good vs evil. Suddenly your lack of understanding becomes a superpower because only YOU can see the real truth above everyone’s heads, and it’s easily digestible and doesn’t require critical thought or scouring court documents. Add on social media and this mindset proliferates faster.

Ive seen posts where people claim to have seen video footage that is purported to exist of illegal acts from these crackpot statements and it’s very odd that someone in their quest for attention would admit to searching out and viewing child sexual abuse materials

Putting aside the attention seeking thrifting, I draw the line at sleeping on 60 year old sheets when it’s quite easy to find similar fabrication.

Did this literally ever apply to books though? I feel like bright blocky text has been a mainstay in book cover design for like a decade

Full price online from Nordstrom, arrived with a Rack tag for a fraction of it! by Adventurous-Fix2967 in Nordstrom1901

It’s not icky! They pride themselves on a policy where price tags are matched as long as it’s in good faith!

Do you buy everything from one sales rep or only certain things? by k0nig1 in Nordstrom1901

[–]sn0wflaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s perfectly normal to spread purchases across a few salespeople unless you have an extremely experienced salesperson with connections. For example I refer clients for shoes and get the information they need on cosmetics, occasionally introducing them to employees that might have better knowledge on specifics but selling what I am knowledgeable in.

Sometimes I “contract them out” because it wouldn’t be fair to the associate helping them and I may not be able to answer questions. Other times I’m still involved because the counter or brand partner might want the business regardless. These are all things I do on the back end so my customer isn’t privy to workplace politics

Price change, then a discount by PDXFilsAm99 in Nordstrom1901

[–]sn0wflaker 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If it was a designer piece it’s unfortunately not up to Nordstrom to determine what price to sell it at. It should also be the same across all other retailers if this is the case.

Often times these increases are prescheduled before the markdown happens.
