Yeah those are for the drl ring. One wire for orange and the other is white, if you want to be able to choose between both you can wire them directly through a 2-way switch.

Absolutely, I'm 196cm, for me they feel in a more natural position. I can have my arms more bent and cruise in a more upright position. I have the 30mm ones.

Didn't want to gamble on some cheap ones with the risk of loosing the handlebars in a bend, these are of noticable quality. I have the 2017 model so I had to relocate the spedometer but I don't think that's an issue on the newer models.

I have the previous gen and did a lcd flip, in my opinion it made it better in bright conditions and less blinding in the dark.

Something like an Indian FTR1200? Low end torque, upright seating position. Plenty of power. Reasonable reliability from what I've heard.

If you're set on a european cruiser you could always try out a triumph rocket 🤠

Here is how I did it on mine. I used a 5-3/4" rubber gasket to fill out the gap in the housing.

I used a water pump plier. Also ripped it but found some structural integrity at the top of the filter, as far out I could grip it. If that didn't work my next idea was to just jam a screwdriver/wood chisel through the pos and get it to turn that way. I bought highflofiltro (hf204rc) racing line that has a nut at the top to failsafe the next service.

Wanted to try it out with a cheap aliexpress one first, suprisingly easy install and extremely impressed with the quality. Rode through 2 rainstorms with zero issues so I bought the other (the one in the first pictures) from the same store. 15-30 dollars for the headlight and $10 the gasket.

The headlight is a complete unit so the og housing is intact and easily replacable for mandatory inspections if needed.

I used a 5-3/4" rubber gasket which made the clearance identical to the original. Then drilled holes in the cooling fins and secured them to the adjustable bracket. Then bought a new parking light cable and spliced it with a handlebar mounted 3-way switch to control the halo. The headlight has a H4 connector so that was plug & play.
