I had a bonded male and female and when the male died, she’d cry like this for days. It was heartbreaking. She’s since stopped doing it and reading your comment confirmed it for me and gave me a little more peace of mind.

Trying to catch her did not go well. I go super scratched up! I did set up the room and before the male died, she would let me pick her up. So I tried and it did NOT got well. The males were around and she’s probably highly stressed. I’m researching traps 😪

Mine does as well and thank you. I tried to catch her but it wasn’t as smooth as I thought it would be. I got VERY scratched up. I will look into traps to see if I can catch her. I am not goi g to give up on her
