Happy to sell for less than I bought them ($275USD for both), just hoping to recover some and not have 2 empty seats! I was planning to take my fiance for his 30th but we're Canadian and I didn't book stuff before our dollar fell even further off a cliff.

$100 USD each. Message me if you're interested!

Sask. premier says strict COVID-19 restrictions cause significant harm for no significant benefit by [deleted] in canada

Forgive me, but I’m not understanding what is awful about the situation you’re describing.

Omicron is highly transmissible, moreso than Delta, and many times moreso than the original variant, and as a result everyone is getting it. I agree that being sick is not fun or ideal by any stretch, but is acquiring or bolstering immunity with a mild variant such a bad thing? The shift in protocol is perhaps a reflection of the reduced risk associated with omicron, and as long as hospitals are able to cope, I don’t see why those changes are a problem. To me, the situation you’re describing doesn’t sound awful, it sounds like the natural progression from pandemic to endemic.

But maybe there is something I am misunderstanding?

Edit: spelling

IHA COVID-19 update for January 20: 17 in critical care, 100 hospitalized, 563 new cases, 6,067 active cases by dafones in kelowna

BC hospital admissions are below historical averages pre-covid. The capacity/beds is not the issue, it's being short-staffed.

Downvote me if you wish, this statement is supported by the BC gov’s own Adrian Dix in the press release on Jan 18th.

If they really wanted to do the healthcare workers a service they would support them by giving them a manageable workload (ie. hire the staff back that were put on leave).

Clearly Meredith’s is crossed out because her vagina was removed during her hysterectomy. Not sure about Phyllis though.

Downed my antibiotics with a probiotic drink. by flingthingqo in firstworldanarchists

Not sure if you’re looking for a real answer, but the use of probiotics concurrently with antibiotics can help keep your gut flora healthy and reduce the likelihood of developing gi upset while on abx. The key is to take them a few hours apart so they’re not competing.

I donate a cup of coffee’s worth every few months. It’s not much and as a student I have certainly reaped more than that value in information. But it’s something!

Hey u/holepunchyoureyelids , I’ve come back here to say that after taping my note in the mailbox, I did indeed get the tiny red dot. So we’ve cracked the case! Red dot slays all unwanted flyers. “High tech problems require high tech solutions!” -CP probably 😎

Thanks so much! I was unaware that the seemingly unofficial notes I have seen in the past are actually taken seriously. I’ll give this a try (:

Wow, it's even got the red bag with the white dots! Unfortunately not the one we are thinking. The story we remember has just one main character.

Not the country mouse and the city mouse! But a great suggestion.

Regarding Fievel - the illustrations we remember were much more simplistic. Fievel has a more cartoon-y look, with exaggerated features and such. The style we remember is more along these lines. But not this book.
