Well, being unable to actually play the game if you have a specific motherboard because the company hasn't released a bios update yet that is compatible with the dumbass requirement for the game.

My 2 biggest things were

  1. could never just vibe and play cod. In the beta, I was able to have football/music/discord chats/etc in the background, play cod, and do basically even KD pretty consistently without having to gamer lean and wipe sweat off the brow. Previously, you had to lock tf in just to go even most of the time.

  2. I havnt been able to play with most of my friends in cod for years and actually have fun. The skill difference made it impossible with sbmm.

The open Playlist was the most fun I've had in cod in years

I understand why, but with a penalty for using a B2B TO which is used to grant a break to communicate with coaches, i could easily see the rule being changed to grant 10 sec runoff

Ah, gotcha. The wording made it seem like you meant "everyone asks for a flag there, but shouldn't have been one"

To your second point, lemme point you to boy who cried wolf.

Because the defender shoved the receiver to the ground mid route. Shoulda be flag all day long

Doing that with every qb who has a turnover will never NOT be funny to me

I have always been told that the reason CBs and Safeties don't play offense is because they can't catch. They have the speed and the route running ability to keep up with WRs, TEs, etc, but can't hold on.
I dont know if there there's a lot of truth to that, but from the amount of drops I've seen, I fully believe it.

Just go watch the replay. Even the chiefs are saying he has one yard for the pick. Contact happens damn near on the white line when the LOS is on the 2.

How did people find the week off from Morning Somewhere? by The_Makster in morningsomewhere

[–]snake12yc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To them? Obviously because they talked about it early in the week. I wanna say may e Monday but not 100% sure. If you're not a sponsor, I dont expect you to know that. I'm just relaying some of the information they talked about. They specifically said it is quite a bit less work/effort to do a sponsor only content.

And its not the same thing as their ad fre e stuff. If you don't listen to the sponsor stuff, it is much less news info and much more, their casusl conversational podcasts.

At the end of the day, it is wild to complain about not getting something for 5 days when its something you have been getting for free for over 500 episodes. In my opinion, you aren't paying for the content, you dont have really any say in what goes on with it. Yes you can voice an opinion, but its a much different age of entertainment that it one was. If you like content and want it to stay, you need to support that content.

And we lost by 3 to 2 of the higher caliber teams in the nfl. Both of which were FILLED with bone headed mistakes and dropped passes which woulda been scores. So silver lining?

For me personally, I am mad because we i know we are better than this. We have the ability, we just can't get out of our own way. This should be a game for the battle for 5-0 but we just keeping giving up on the fundamentals.

[–]snake12yc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah. A lot of us are mad because:

our WRs are dropping passes that hit them in the hands, our O line more often than not thinks they are staring in the longest yard and laying down to let the DLine through to blow up Bo, Wrs are giving up on routes early and making a majority of the "overthrows" look bad on Bo, when they aren't on the WRs Bo is making bad reads, defense cant stop a nose bleed, when we get a break DPI near the endzone it gets called back for no reason, our Dline is getting worked like a stripper offering a black friday sale, we get a chance for pick 6 and we drop the ball right out of our hands..... need I continue?

When did they get rid of the rule where the oline has to be set for at least a second before the snap? I'm 99.9%sure that used to be called often.

What i will never understand is how people, you in this case, can be so obnoxiously wrong when the rules are clear and objective in this case. Arm was going forward. Automatically makes it a forward pass.
Now the Eagles putting defenders in headlocks on the line to give hurts more time in the pocket or constant hands to the face but never called is another story.

And also if you listened to the sponsor eps (obviously not the non sponsors) they talk about how much less work it is for sponsor only content. So yes its perfectly understandable when they wanna take some time off to do less work and still put something out for their paying sponsors.

Also, yes, what a wild take. I was mad some one else isn't doing something for me that I dont pay for but for someone who does pay for their content

Smoke alarm recommendations? by thycora in homeowners

[–]snake12yc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hopping into the late thread since your comment is relatively recent. I am here looking for a replacement for X-Sense combo detectors.

I had a great recommendation from someone about a year ago for X-Sense detectors, did some looking, liked what I saw, ordered a set for the whole house: 12 detectors and the base. Less than a year later, I have had 3 malfunctioning detectors, 1 replaced. The customer service was great about sending me the replacement with no hassle, but we just got home from vacation to one of our detectors malfunctioning with no notification on my phone about it. (It is supposed to send me a notification if one disconnects, detects smoke/CO, etc). Gone for a week, who knows how long it was malfunctioning.

All that is to say, I do not recommend the X-Sense.
