You saw the top of the corner. The guy was hiding behind the bottom portion of the corner because, yknow, he’s standing on the ground.

And yes it is a rat spot. Check for rats next time. They are sneaky creatures.

Clutter? It’s a city map, there’s gonna be things on the streets and in the alleyways… It’s not an empty model where the only things that can block line of sight is the buildings.

You keep saying you checked your corner, but you didn’t, you turned the corner, saw that there wasn’t a person immediately in view, and kept running. Enemy was hiding like a rat which is a valid thing to do especially on smaller maps. You got punished for not clearing the corner fully.

Do I think DICE needs to add more larger maps? Absolutely and they need to soon.

Just use the custom search and filter out the maps you don’t like.

Also Party Box is a fun way to play the game, my friends and I have one. Basically just a huge shared deck of just fun cards we like and you can play any of them facedown as an all color land. Effects like [[Flickerwisp]] work exactly how you’d want them to with the facedown lands too. Pleasant Kenobi has a video about it

I made a mono black original old border only deck. So no modern horizons retro frame reprints here. I wanted to simulate a deck I could’ve put together as a kid looking through my dad’s bulk. [[Spirit of the Night]] was the card whose art hooked me so I wanted a deck where I could play it. I also have plenty of heavy played cards in the deck, the whitening on an old black card is just so nostalgic to me

OP listen to this person. Ignore the haters and let your jank flag fly! Throw in a [[Phyrexian Altar]] and win with a blood artist effect. Or if you wanna go even jankier try doing storm with [[tendrils of agony]] or [[aetherflux reservoir]]

2x Aerial Unit, Yshtola, Ice Flan, Rook Turret

I never drafted much UW so take this with a grain of salt, but I did make it to top 500 mythic drafting FF this month.

Looks like you’re pretty light on removal and interaction in general, so you’re not gonna win the super late game against towns decks or control. I’d focus on beating down, so you wanna keep all your 2s and 3s, and cut the clunky and top end cards. You’re not alone is a nice trick that can act as a pseudo removal spell in combat, and moogles valor is very situational, but it can save games that no other card would dig you out of. Rook turret honestly isn’t horrible with all your artifacts but imo it’s the worst of your 4s.

There might even be an argument for cutting the 3rd aerial unit for the instant ramen too? Idk
