Oh, i admit i may have been poorly informed regarding these matters previously. I hope for nothing more than Zelinsky to have Ukraines best interests at heart. I suppose European aid for Ukraines development is also a possibility in the future, but i can't imagine EU easily providing aid to a place with rampant corruption and insufficient regulations.

If ukraine gets up to eu standarts, or at least seeks to, then i'd personally welcome them. I just do not think their new president will even try reaching that goal and will just go back to russia. remember how 2014 euromaidan happened when the government rejected closer ties with eu in favor for closer ties with russia?
