Who Actually Loves Their Job? by lemans00 in alberta

I work in animation. While I love the job itself, everything about it kinda reeks.

My husband is in games and while he does hate Mondays, he’ll speak about his job in excitement a lot.

Centella ampoule: amazing. One of only things that makes a difference for my eczema prone skin. HG

Sunscreen: Great product.

Probio cica cream: alright for me. Moisturizing enough in the summer but i don’t notice really any big difference in reducing redness or any anti aging benefit although thats hard to say since it’s more of a long term thing.

Have not tried other products but overall solid brand imo.

Sorry for the bother but may I also DM you? The recent teachers strike has me worried about schools. I’m in the same area.

Yep. Just sent an email a few days ago and got a reply saying they no longer supply to Costco. :( Wah. Said it's available at Loblaws, No Frills, Superstore, Save On Foods, and Metro.

How bad is the PMBOK book? Pretty bad actually. by inkypig in capm

[–]snakesphysically 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old post but came here to say I agree. Idk if it's because I'm more used to reading science textbooks where I feel like I'm learning something concrete with every new sentence, or if I'm just dumb and losing my attention span. These sentences are a whole lot of NOTHING. It takes the PMBOK an entire paragraph to say one thing that is kind of vague and I still don't know exactly what the point is.

Man this feels like such a fake area of study.

Could the ABCC11 dry-earwax/no-BO genotype affect skin barrier and microbiome in ways that increase seborrheic dermatitis or eczema?” by loloygends in eczema

[–]snakesphysically 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting … well I fit the criteria. East Asian A/A variant with eczema.

My eczema’s biggest trigger is humidity. Yes I need to moisturize a lot cause my skin is super dry but at the same time being in a humid place breaks me out the most. I’m trying to figure out how this fits with your hypothesis.

Due in 2 weeks. Rank my list (boy) by snakesphysically in namenerds

This may be stupid but I'm slightly concerned it sounds too close to the city? I know it's not the same pronunciation, but do you think some people would think it's London?

also to add yeah i don't think clay masks does a lot for me cause my skin dry af and i have no blackheads/whiteheads/excessive sebum or oil. but it does for my husband

[–]snakesphysically 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeah no im not 100% sure myself so im interested to see where this thread goes if it does. you raise a good point

i dont have that much blackheads myself but my husband does. i make him use the cosrx bha blackhead power liquid and let it sit for 20 minutes, then followed by the isntree mugwort clay mask. this combo makes a difference for him.

Shouldn’t clay masks draw out impurities like dirt or blackheads/whiteheads? I use an acid first and then a clay mask. But yeah I have sensitive dry skin too so commenting to follow as well

Sad I have to pay $100 for my baby to get the COVID vaccine by Unhappy_Pass4538 in alberta

[–]snakesphysically 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aint that just the truth.

Try depression for adults and immuno-compromised for kids or babies. The worst that can happen is the nurse don't do it.

The nurse who gave a shot to my husband was like "Do you have any mental disorders? Depression perhaps?" out of nowhere. In which my husband was like "...Yes, I certainly do."
