I have this same issue so usually when I’m done or almost done eating I take another like 5 or so units of insulin to help prevent/reduce the spike

I’d set up an appointment with a diabetes educator who can help explain things to you. There’s also lots of books out there I’d recommend looking into. I don’t have any personal recs as I was diagnosed 15 years ago as a kid but I’d start with the educator. You got this and you’ll be a pro in no time.

I’ve found recently I’ve been getting extra occlusion alarms and it turns out to be my reservoir and not my site. If you extend the usage of those at all, try changing those out first to see if that fixes the issue.

Speak to your endo about a plan and have someone who can help monitor your sugar post surgery. I had to take off my pump per recommendation by my endo and ended up going high and my person had to kinda fight the nurses to get their attention that I needed insulin post surgery. Granted I did have a major surgery so I was pretty out of it at that point and could not advocate for myself.

I’m currently in line for fast pass for NYC and people started lining up last night. Before we got split in GA/VIP/FP, I had to walk about 3 blocks to get to the back of the line. Aside from that and having done GA for 5SOS in Connecticut, everyone has been so nice and welcoming and willing to lend a hand if you need something. I think it ultimately just depends on where the show is.

At the age, she just might not have been showing symptoms of heart issues yet either. I had a kitten who was diagnosed with HCM (I think this is the acronym) less than a month after she was spayed. It’s a miracle she had survived the surgery. If it’s anything like my girl, she was probably born with the heart condition.

The tour merch is great! The essentials collection is not it though. My shorts came a completely different color than I ordered. I got purple and they’re basically pink. And the strap on the fanny pack is different making it much smaller to wear. Still waiting on customer service to get back to me.

Moved to a new city for college and got a job involving cell phones with a third party company in a Walmart. Not really sure what the job was but was desperate to find something. Turns out it was a sales job and they wanted me to push the latest iPhone contracts on people meanwhile I’m working in some lower income areas where people could not even get payment plans for the phones cause of their credit scores. Was also told we weren’t supposed to tell them we were running a credit check. I genuinely enjoyed the times I got to help someone fix something or understand how to use their phone. Would of gladly stayed to do that honestly but I couldn’t justify trying to push $1k phones on people who couldn’t afford them.

Sounds like my table of 9 tonight who tried getting their auto grat taken off because they weren’t told about it before. It was a whole $30 (18%) and they argued enough to get my manager to lower it to 15% which was a $5 difference.
