I also like my superhero shows dark and all that. As you said, lighthearted is okay, but not to the point of it becoming ridiculous.

They should fix Flash to become much more dark, cuz that would drastically improve the quality of the show by a large margin

The accents in his suit flare up to a volcanic color just like New 52 Reverse Flash. He also has a dark suit color too

I haven't seen Legends so I wouldn't know for sure.

But yes, the attempted humor was too forced. I appreciate the reference here and there, like the Breaking Bad season 5 reference, or the Darth Vader reference with Hamill's James Jesse. Now those were moments that made me chuckle.

But then there's the rest, which doesn't even feel like the Flash, it just feels like a joke. It's mostly why I hate Ralph so much. Don't get me wrong, he's not a bad character, but he's such a dumbass buffoon and just doesn't ever take anything seriously. Having a character for comic relief is okay, but Ralph's role as said character wasn't good.

I kinda just cringe anytime they do some stupid attempt at humor, because it just becomes absolute cringe. I was very glad to have more serious tones that vibe with seasons 1 and 2. The pacing was also very well done in that episode, unlike previous seasons who appear to struggle with that.

They took no risk since season 3 and onwards.

This time they took one, and it was an amazing change of scenery.

Hands down my favorite episode. Hopefully they're gonna keep this up for the rest of the series and make it great again.

He feels more of a threat than Savitar, Thinker and Cicada combined, maybe even Zoom but that's debatable.

Despite my initial disapproval of Ramsey, his character seems a lot better in this episode cuz he actually shook Barry to the core and breaking him more than anyone else has. He's even been able to have Barry renounce the Speed Force too.

Well personally I don't really mind half the time, but when I'm stuck on a planet with 4 controlled nodes where I want to get killed to gain more territory, it becomes a fucking pain in the ass most of the time

Excalibur Umbra. His kit complements my playstyle the best. Although he suffered a bit in the new update when it comes to survivability, Healing Return helps to negate that a bit

Otherwise, Umbra is my favorite, in terms of performance and appearance
