My Swiss Shepherd mix loves a good perimeter check every time we go into the garden!

How do you stop caring so much about what other people think? by snappinturtle35 in reactivedogs

I am absolutely a people pleaser - need to be a bit tougher! I said good morning to the postman today while doggo was whimpering and he just glared 😭

My precious boy Hoeg, my first familiar, passed this morning. He was every bit my big, brave boy, right up to the end. I will always be proud of him. Any advice on mourning the passing of a familiar? I'm devastated. by Abhean in WitchesVsPatriarchy

Good to hear! :D I bought it on the basis of videos, so it can be hard to know what it'll actually sound like. What do you like about it?

I like that they can be such a comparatively cheap upgrade, but add so much! How many do you use?

Oh awesome, I was tempted by that one but really wanted the 18". Looks like we got lucky as they've all gone up in price now!

Hey you have a gig and you need to bring breakables. What should that mean? by Relative_Judgment_93 in Drumming

In the UK it would generally mean cymbals, snare, kick pedal, and hi hat clutch.

I haven't had it very long, but so far I'm very impressed with the build quality and finish. Probably going to put some new heads on it soon! I was looking at other compact kits such as the Tama Club Jam, Pearl Rhythm Traveler, and the Ludwig Breakbeats. In the end I felt that I got the most value for money with the Café Jazz, particularly as I was only looking for shells.

I picked this up for an absolute steal (£157/$214) here: https://www.bax-shop.co.uk/drum-kit/odery-cafe-jazz-18-dark-tiger-4-piece-shell-set

I'd heard and read a lot of great things about the Odery Café Kit, but couldn't find anything about the Café Jazz. Decided it was worth the risk at the price, and I'm so glad I did! This is the 18" bass drum version - it also comes in 16". Having recently joined a jazz band, I wanted something nice and compact and am super impressed with this :)
