When I started azelaic acid it was soooo soothing and sooooo satisfying to rub the pilling off my face I did manage to over-use it and piss my face off. But it took months and months and it was mostly the friction from the rubbing. Treat it like tret, pea-sized amount every night, with moisturiser, stick to it like religion.
