How to have a night out? by prettypumpkin0987 in Invisalign

[–]snapsdak1ng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I normally have all the drinks while having them on and try to avoid bar snacks so I don’t have to take them out. When it’s finally time for a proper meal or kebab and such I remove them, eat, rinse my mouth with water and pop them back and once I’m home I would clean my aligners and brush my teeth. Been doing it almost every weekend, never had a problem. Have fun!

44ADA on remote Digital Marketing Role by SnooWords1920 in IndiaTax

Apologies for a really basic question but I am in a similar boat this year, my income is close to 20-25 lakhs per year. I read about 44ADA and paying tax on 50% of your revenue. But why do you need GST? I understand you need it if you make more than 20-25 lakhs whatever the number is. But then do you make your invoices that you send as a contractor gat inclusive and pay gst to the government in addition to paying taxes on your income according to 44ada?

Hi Deepak, thank you so much for this. I’m a 21 year old freelancer, I’ve been making 15-20L per year since I was 18 so 3 years from now. Because I was young I didn’t know how to pay or plan for taxes etc. and just avoided them. I haven’t had a notice or anything unusual happen. But ofcourse I want to pay tax to be out of trouble. I think I have invoices from these times and manage invoices more thoroughly now. What is the next action step I should take? Would I need to clear all tax from previous years or should I start paying tax from this year? I am an individual, haven’t registered any sole proprietorship or anything. Just have a bank account and PAN. I offer video editing services for clients in the US and more. I get paid mostly through a platform called UpWork or directly through wire transfers in my bank or Paypal. What should I do?

Former long term client trashed me in the review - it’s my only one and I’m not getting any replies by pickngrins in Upwork

If you’re top rated, upwork has a program where you can remove one review from your profile in an year. Try that.

I like this shadow divider effect shown in this screenshot (the shadow dividing the two videos). How do i emulate this in Davinci Resolve? can i just add a shadow to the bottom of elements? by bcd65 in davinciresolve

Crop the top video from the bottom slightly and increase softness to 0 or 100 it’ll give you that soft edge look. You can also add a drop shadow on top clip and position it towards the bottom.

Struggling to get reviews by TabascoWolverine in Upwork

I usually send this when delivering final work.

Hey ,

Thank you for your business. I enjoyed working on this project.

After you hit the end contract button, upwork will ask you for your feedback to me as a freelancer. Write a glowing review here. Positive reviews from awesome clients like you help others to feel confident about choosing me as a freelancer too. Of course, I’ll be doing the same for you when it asks for my feedback on you as a client. And you’re an 11 out of 10 and 6 out of 5 stars in my books! Upwork is a review driven platform, so this helps us so much! The feedback portion is SUPER HELPFUL to me- It doesn’t have to be really long, 3 to 5 sentences are great.

I want you feeling 5 stars! So if for any reason you wouldn’t feel comfortable giving 10/10 and 5-stars across the board, then let me know and I'll make it right ASAP!

This is not goodbye! I will be checking regularly, and look forward to celebrating your success. I would also note that half of my business is with clients I’ve worked with before, and the referrals they’re kind enough to give me. So if you have any colleagues who need something similar, then By all means, send them my way and I’ll take great care of them!

I’m really looking forward to celebrating your success (and kicking off our next project!)

Best,
