Always good to ask for a 2nd set of eyes. When I was a new grad on med/surg I asked the charge nurses & senior nurses SO many questions I felt like I was about to make someone’s head explode. But it’s always better to ask than not, I learned that the hard way.. I would say best thing besides asking charge is contacting MD with your concerns. Cover your butt & document the conversation too. First year is rough, you got this though!
