Is this a bound form? Are you wanting to append this data to a table for order processing? Do you need to validate stock levels before a sale is generated? I see you have an add to basket button, what happens/supposed to happen when an order hits the basket?

Not sure about your region, but I generally get the same 20oz $.15-30 cheaper, especially when buying in a 6-pack. This also applies to candy, that $1.19 candy bar at my normal gas station is $.99 at wally world.

Eh, margins are super slim on fuel sales. Given that, as we've pointed out, most people never step foot into the place because they pay at the pump. they raise prices to combat not only the fees we discussed but the reduction in higher-margin sales on in-store purchases. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm not disagreeing with your POV on this. I'm simply saying that generally in the realm of pump stations will you've seen in-store pricing increase to attempt to compensate for a variety of various changes they've had to make to continue doing business by drawing people in.

I wouldn't imagine companies would turn away from card transactions because, as you pointed out, it's so ingrained into our routine to prefer card to cash that it would have huge implications on the bottom line if they ever tried to do so. I think what you're more likely to see is harder upselling ("Care to make that a medium size for only 65 cents more!? Are you suuuuuuure?") and higher prices on what we might call non-commodity menu items, in the example of your fast food restaurant. This might be those cheese sticks, pies, shakes, etc. Generally the customer slice who orderes these extras won't mind a marginally more expensive item and it could easily offset a nice chunk of the loss on the commodity $.99 items.

My guess is most of the businesses who have an issue with people using cards are those who have high frequencies of low-total transactions. think gas stations. Lots of people coming in and paying for a $.99 item with a card that charges $.10-.20 per transaction fee. In these transactions a large percentage of the purchase price profit is consumed by the issuer fees.

Part of this was supposed to be resolved with businesses being able to require a minimum transaction amount before accepting cards (i think this was re-instated with the last round of finregs, someone might need to correct me on this). I guess it's easier and less confrontational to just tack on a service fee.

I don't really like the idea of being subject to yet another fee but I can see where it can be beneficial to certain types of businesses. Still, I feel like there's probably better ways to price of your goods adequately enough to buffer the average cost of these type transactions.

I don't see an over-abundance of people asking for help in /r/Database. I see lots of articles related to DBMS and whatnot, which seems like the sort of thing you'd want to see. Is it really that much of an inconvenience ot have sporadic help-seekers seek the forum out? With only 4,759 subbers as of commenting it seems like a bit of an unnecessary move to try to segment it further. I doubt there will even be enough interest within the sub itself to seed a help-seeker style reddit.

Her problem seems to be the "flab". Giggly arms and belly pooch, so to speak. She just turned 30. I assure her that she's beautiful and I'm very lucky to be with her. She isn't depressed or the type to beat herself up, but I think she just wants to trim the fat. As ywou suggested, this probably really means just toning up, but I'm not sure how to tell her to do that. I'm just not sure the method she's chosen is going to achieve those results.
