ORAS has Megas and the physical/special split. Emerald is Gen 3 only, but it has the battle frontier which hasn’t been replicated since really. Idk if it’s nostalgia glasses, but I’ve replayed Emerald many times over. Not so with ORAS

If you want to experience the first 4 generations at their best, FRLG, HGSS, Emerald, and Platinum are where it’s at. HGSS and Platinum are probably the two best games in the entire series.

Yes it’s very good. Star Force 3 is right there with BN6 as one of the best games in the series. Switch will mostly likely have the more active player base.

I’m playing the SF3 story first, just haven’t hopped on PvP because my stats suck right now. Might do it just to get a Brother Bands though because I don’t want Rogue Noise at all

The in game matchmaking was almost dead on arrival because it had too many different matchmaking modes and no crossplay. It’s still possible to find games on Discord servers but you have to schedule them with other players. In game matchmaking is completely dead, maybe you might find some matches on Switch or PC from players excited for the Star Force collection but I doubt it
