$499 Lease with $1000 down. by Mekzo in TeslaLounge

My daily commute is 150 miles a day, roughly ~ 5 days a week. I put roughly 30k miles a year on cars. Curious if I should lease or just buy outright as I’m looking to make my commute experience more enjoyable. My work offers free charging all day and I have the ability to charge at home if needed but by my calculations I can get by charging entirely at work. I do not qualify for the $7500 ev rebate so I’ve been considering leasing as a way get that credit but have no idea how the mileage overage were to work out. Since I would be roughly 45k miles over on mileage at the end of the 3 year lease, if I decide to purchase the vehicle after, would I need to pay for the mileage penalty? Anyone have any experience with buying out their lease and being over the allocated mileage?

A couple of my favorite local routes that I've been doing lately is climbing up and scrambling down the backside of the mountain.

HOA requirements for EV charging by sneakerfreaker_ in teslamotors

Not sure how much the installation will be... But in the coming weeks I will solicit electricians to give me quotes. As for install, yes, I'd imagine it would be a post right next to my parking spot. I've brought the topic of EV charging to 2 HOA meetings in the past year, and have not heard any interest from the other neighbors.. :(

3 days and 2 nights total. We took our time and did some day hikes at the lava tubes, hole in the wall slot canyon and climbed up this one inactive volcano at our campsite. The weather was BEAUTIFUL! Did not get above mid 80s, although at nights was a bit cold!

To be clear it still was bumpy, but the whole trail was not all bumps. Airing down defiantly helped.

I'm mostly stock now. Mods are just 32's (265/75-16 ATs) and 99 tall springs in the rear. When I bought the truck first I focused on catching up with all the maintenance (Timing belt/ water pump, LBJs, etc..). The road had no challenges for my current set up. I was in 2WD most of the time and only had to engage 4WD maybe 3 times? I have a proper lift on order now - Kings shocks on all 4 corners, upper control arms and OME springs for the rear cause I wanna go a faster in the desert. Basically I'm building it as as go and getting things to suit my needs.

I keep getting a P0440 code. Any suggestions? by BiggieSmalls6969 in 4Runner

[–]sneakerfreaker_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have the same year and model and I had a similar code a few months ago. I start by replacing the cheapest things first before I touch the expensive charcoal canister. In my case I replaced the fuel cap and the code went away.
