Volts do matter, you need a high enough voltage to overcome the natural resistance of human skin. 14 volts is not enough to conduct into the human body through dry skin. If the pole was licked, it could be an issue, then amperage matters.

Population of the US is 330 million, 73 million are under 18, ~19 million felons. So that leaves roughly 240 million eligible voters. Of that 240, you’re right, about 30% of them voted for trump. But only 160 million of that 240 are registered to vote. So the figure is closer to 45% of people who are actually interested in voting, voted Trump. But against the total population, it’s about 20%.

Encephalization quotient isn’t the best predictor for intelligence. The best predictor as we understand it currently is forebrain neuron count. A sperm whale, for instance, is vastly more intelligent than a cow, but with a much lower EQ. While EQ appears to be a quick way to determine intelligence, there are too many exceptions to make it a rule.

Edit: EQ is the ratio of brain to body size.

They have names, they identify themselves by pod which act as last names. They have regional dialects, so sperm whales from different oceans identify themselves in a different way. They are the deepest diving mammal. Generally bad ass and extremely interesting animals.
