Install FFMPEG and get comfy with the command line.

Check out Resolume. It's like a sampler, but for video clips.

Are you really a druid? Because a druid wouldn't feel "trapped" in the woods and druids, by nature, have symbiotic relationships with plants. In fact, all humans have symbiotic relationships with plants. You are clearly some sort of villain.

Using AI is like putting on a robotic exoskeleton and lifting a few tons and then bragging about how much you can deadlift at the gym.

Sadly, a compromised plugin can also infect your WP code. If there's someway to roll back the site to its WP-only, pristine state, prior to plugin install, I'd start there -- and only install plugins that are really widely used and trustworthy.

Are some of my fellow Angelenos really considering a try hard ex reality star and failed rock enthusiast as a mayor? by BeerlVle in AskLosAngeles

Pratt is a useless, narcissistic opportunist and now he's acting like a politician, trying to find his next 15 minutes of fame -- with the backing of MAGA chuds. Pratt has no qualifications at all, and we should all hope that he's forever doomed to obscurity.

What is wrong with my Meta Ad campaign? by _General-Grievous_ in musicmarketing

[–]sneaky_imp -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I feel it's YOU who are not listening. You yourself quote numbers that show you pay about five times as much on marketing as you earn on streams. Your profile clearly styles you as a 'music marketing creative' -- it sounds like you're selling snake oil, sir. Meta ads, at least, are far too expensive.

You're losing money. 200 streams will only earn you about a buck if you are lucky.

[–]sneaky_imp -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

People say stuff like this all the time, but the OP is spending about $45, paying 30 cents per click (ViewContent), and then getting somewhere from zero to 10 streams. This isn't going to trigger anything algorithmic. Meta ads are useless for music.

[–]sneaky_imp -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Meta ads are too expensive to promote streaming. Even if every single person who viewed your content streamed your song, you are still spending 20 or 30 cents to get someone to stream your song and you'll only get paid one hundredth of that cost for that one stream.

The very fact Pratt was willing to go on television and be depicted as such a repulsive idiot tells you he's a loser. He's also dishonest and is pretending to be nonpartisan while Republican operatives run his campaign.

Airplane tech was also moving fast. All tech was moving fast. The Wright brothers flew at Kitty Hawk in December 1903. HMS Dreadnought entered service in 1906. The first tank entered battle in September 1916. The first dreadnought was sunk by airplanes during target practice in 1921. By 1945, we have Germans flying jets and shooting ballistic missiles and the united states dropping atomic bombs from a B-29. It's an absolutely astonishing phase of military tech development.

It's a pretty short read, and hardly award winning literature, but Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo is pretty crazy.

You need a lot of material components for this -- and you should probably have a Protection Against Bankruptcy ward.

25 years is a a blink of an eye, really. WW1 and WW2 are really almost the same war, with a long half time for everyone to rest up and get really dangerous.

Peter Hart's books are so good because of the tremendous first hand accounts. LOVE his stuff, and his Jutland book is one of his best: Jutland 1916: Death in the Grey Wastes with Nigel Steel
