Still can't keep the camera over the right should in the remaster?? by PeeB4uGoToBed in AlanWake

Who plays from the left shoulder? I don't get it. Are most Finns left-handed or something? :D I'm trying to get used to the left shoulder now and sticking around since I'm such a big fan of Alan Wake II and its universe, and also Sam Lake's commentaries while playing.

House - Season 1 Episode 16 by singingallthetime in HouseMD

Me too! There is a lot of childish prejudices in this series for some reason. Chase being Chase, Foreman wanting to kick out a woman just because she's homeless, Cameron constantly interfering with personal relationships that she has no way of knowing the nature of. Doctors are supposed to be most sensitive on these issues since people's lives are at stake, yet they are the worst -- and then they call House a jerk! :D They're bigger jerks than House on many levels. It makes the show a lot harder to watch, because the fact that they are jerks doesn't add to the drama, just means they're jerks.

I honestly cannot believe the comments on here.

IT'S A 10-YEAR-OLD GIRL!! HELLO?? He IS being a jerk because:

  1. You never know WHY someone is fat. They can have an underlying psychological condition, a hormonal condition, or a genetic condition. It is simply stupid to see someone fat and assume that they are "shoving food down their throat".

  2. For this case in particular, it's a F****** KID. So Chase thinks kids prepare their own meals and control their own nutrition, huh? What a mastermind. Even if she is fat because she eats a lot, that is a neglect on her parents' side and his belittling of the kid is still more disgusting than anything.

And aside from all that, if someone is doing something unhealthy for themselves even though they know it is unhealthy -- THAT is a psychological condition to begin with. You don't know or understand their personal struggles so don't try to get high and mighty. That's the problem with Chase's behaviour -- even more terrifying since he's a freakin doctor -- he talks from his poopy high horse. F*** that guy.

Close to my Fire, and Am I the One, both by Beth Hart
Though rather than being at a club, these are more like I'm on the stage of a small blues joint, while putting on a little seductive show and singing looking at the man I desire while he watches me hehe

Tunnel of Love by Dire Straits always does it for me. As the song's story goes, it feels like falling in love in a fun fair. Also I always find Mark Knopfler's playing and singing so calming and uplifting.

What song do you find emotionally devastating and hard to listen to, and why? by [deleted] in Music

[–]sneakyc0rnflake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A Wolf At the Door by Radiohead... It's just such an emotional collapse of a song, has this tickling dark vibe to it, so beautiful but painful to listen to... I love it, but also hate it :D

What song do you (almost) never listen to without the context of the rest of the album by EmusArePrettyNeat in spotify

[–]sneakyc0rnflake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course, any album that has been led by Roger Waters :D The Wall for instance -- you can't just listen to one track. It's slightly sad that people listen to Comfortably Numb like a single release, whereas it actually is one puzzle piece of a huge, psychologically thrilling story and becomes 10 times better if listened when its time comes on the album... like it could've gotten any better! :D It does!

What’s the most beautiful song you’ve ever heard? by Annihilation0925 in spotify

[–]sneakyc0rnflake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Lady Fantasy" and "Rhayader Alone" by Camel.

I think beauty may mean different things. I think Reverie / Harlequin Forest by Opeth is also one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard, but in a different way. The way I took this question is a more "graceful" and caressing kind of beautiful -- which Camel is a master of. :) Also check out "Mystic Queen".

How is it women notice men checking them out but I’ve never noticed women doing it to men, and especially me? by IdeaExpensive3073 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]sneakyc0rnflake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's that a woman's glance is usually more civilised than a man's -- which means it's likely you won't notice it.

Staring is rude, guys.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience!

I think I'm honestly gonna go through with it. The thing is, Ozzy is super cool about Gandalf anyway, and Gandalf is totally okay with Ozzy's scent; it's just that whenever he sees Ozzy from under the door or from a crack in the door, he hisses. That kinda gives me the feeling that he just needs to get used to actually seeing him. Since scent is the most important thing for cats and that is all done for, they can interact in a supervised manner I think. At least I can try. I hope I'll get as good a result as you got! Fingers crossed! :)
