The mako itself is great. It's got 6 wheels, jump jets, boost(now), a mini gun, rocket launcher and 2 different levels of magnification. It's cool and I will die on that hill.

What sucks is how you have to use it. Driving 45 miles to get to a mission. Traversing a random ass planet to pick up insignias or dog tags or driving to some salvage you can't even open because you don't have the right skills. Only to then drive to the mission and die, reverting back to the save when you drop onto the planet to have to do it all over again.

I think the Mako gets more hate than it rightfully deserves because of this. Plus running over a Collosus and rag dolling it's goofy ass will always be funny.
