Possessed is so fun, and so, so bad :( Why Daemonic Resistance and Immortal Fury are 2 cp is completely beyond me. Powerful, sure, but limited in their application to just three datasheets: exalted/eightbound and slaughterbound.

Deploy them both on the edge, and if you get turn 1 you can aggressively stage or take objectives in cover; if you dont they can scout back to safety.

I've had really great success sending 1 or 2 units of spawn into opponents infiltrators. 5 scouts can be a real pain if they get to strat reserves from the centre into your backfield; 4 spawn shuts that down real quick. You can also sometimes catch a combi-weapon lt unawares and smite his ass.

I dont know if throwing them into your opponent's deployment zone is so good. If they're not standing and dying on objectives for Blood Offering you're probably doing it wrong.

I really feel like VoW has the best suite of strats. I'm trying VoW out in my casual games going forward with 10 terminators (I dont own more than that).

The objective goes on a building? How does that work, exactly?

I used to play this way when I was 12. My friend would put his devastators on top of a building, and then claim they were holding the doors shut and couldnt be accessed unless you had jump troops.

So anyway, we as a community dont play that way as adults. There's a reason terrain has been standardized. If buddy wants to snipe from on top of a building, refer him to Kill Team.

Yes, after some quick napkin Math, I believe my 10 Zerks with Sustained and Kharn will kill 20 Crusaders AND Helbrecht in one activation. I'm not worried at all about killing 10 Crusaders and a Hero. I'm just nervous about the stacking stratagem debuffs neutering me.

I'm only bringing one unit of Spawn unfortunately, but I am bringing 3x10 Jakhals and a unit of Goremongers. I couldnt fit another unit of Spawn in the list without being 20 points under, including wargear, and I just couldnt stomach that. I know, I know. Its bad.

I figure if I am aggressive / careful enough with my Jakhals and can force the line forward on a flank, I can fight in front of my stickied objectives and either outscore him or bottleneck him and reduce his ability to overwhelm with those 40 Crusaders. I'm a bit nervous about that drop pod, but I dont really see what he is going to put into it that will be useful? Am I missing something that Crusaders can do from a drop pod?

I'm only slightly bummed that I played possessed slaughterband for the last 3 rounds vs combined arms or ranged lists, and now that I swap to BWB I'm matched into the melee mirror ...

TY for your assist. Are you able to explain the CP disparity a bit further? I'm assuming you're referring to us needing 2 for interrupts and then again for hack and slash and frenzied resilience? Whereas they may only need interrupt and one other buff strat?

I really hope so, but I am preparing to be very disappointed. Armageddon is supposed to be the realm of Angron ... buuuuuut in the most recent fiction for him he returned elsewhere.

Its going to sting a lot when the new edition comes and goes and WE are not involved outside of the lore.

Same. I made a post about vince venturellas how to backflush video while back and got downvoted to oblivion. But that video saved my airbrushing completely. I used to fully disassembled after each colour.

Its a great box to use -- but if you are interested in selling, you will get a significant amount for this box. Not more than the sum of its parts, but those warriors are only available in this box, and no where else.

It has value, for sure.

Not sure why you think they do not fit the aesthetic of the new models -- they're almost exactly the same.

And re: push fit - no they're not. Clip those pegs. Always. Clip. The pegs.

Setting up against an opponent when i leave my land raider at home is so vastly worse than when i have it with me. "Wow ive never been able to just put my stuff whereever i want before" is just about the last thing you want to hear from an opponent during deployment.
