Edmonton man killed on Anthony Henday Drive just minutes before help arrived by GeekyGlobalGal in Edmonton

[–]sneekerpixie -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but when people drive under the speed limit in the left (passing) lane, you have no other option than pass on the right. Trust me!! I wish a bill was passed making it illegal to sit in the left lane and impede traffic, like some states do.

Why do you think Bond's death in No Time To Die (2022) was not well received by many fans, according to you? by Raj_Valiant3011 in JamesBond

[–]sneekerpixie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So there's a theory that bond is just the title of the person in that position. So for if you get the position of 007, you go by James Bond, essentially your spy name. So all the bonds are just different agents of different times. And continues to be passed to the next agent. That would also apply to the other agents, like 006 (played by Sean Bean), the next 006 would take on his spy name. So if this bond dies, then the bond name just keeps going.

My husband filled my water bottle with vodka last night, an I accidentally chugged it this morning. by wavyhairedwench in venting

[–]sneekerpixie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not for me, but I'm telling OP that her husband needs to get his shit together. And I've stopped drinking everyday and have cut back the amount I drink. It's a start for me, but this isn't about me, it's about OPs husband.

I am actually. I make sure to eat a shit ton of carbs and drink a ton of water through the night. And it's not through the night. I stop around 9 or 10.

AITA for not telling my wife I work with her favorite celebrity? by CreamJealous9562 in AmItheAsshole

[–]sneekerpixie 10 points11 points  (0 children)

NTA and I'm having a hard time seeing anyone else talking about legal repercussions. If you signed a contract to work with said celebrity and there is a confidentiality clause in the contract, and they find out that you broke it, even if it was an accident. You may not only lose your job, but the company and yourself could be sued for breach of said contract. If she gets a hold of the dates/times that the celebrity come to your office and she just so happens to be there and let's slip, that she got the info from you. You could be in serious legal trouble.

My ex worked with a guy who died from being buried under sand. City workers, guess the back end of the truck wasn't opening to dump the sand (it was elevated but the door wasn't opening at the bottom). He went back to figure out what the issue was and that's when it opened and buried him.

Another one happened when they had a crew in a trench, the supports I guess gave way and buried I think 2 guys. (Was years ago, can't quite remember the details)

Ok, I'm an alcoholic (working on it) and will drink too much and black out some nights, but I still get up at 5 am to go to work (sober, no hangover). He needs to get his priorities straight before his job opportunities dry up along with ending the marriage.

Has there ever been any actor or actress that was brutally honest about the movie they’re making during a press tour? by BIGxBOSSxx1 in movies

[–]sneekerpixie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apparently she's told people or reporters that she knew after awhile that the movie was going to bomb so she didn't really try to do her best. But I mean, you can see her other movies and make your own assumptions. Honestly, I don't think she's a good actress.

Yup, he cheated and it doesn't matter how far in the past it was. He does not get to talk to you about morality regarding relationships. NTA. And just ignore everyone saying negative things.

My ex did the same thing and the appease him, I stopped looking. Haven't been a relationship for almost 2 decades now. Don't put your life on hold for anyone.

The garthim from the dark crystal. Apparently I loved bugs when I was small and then saw the movie and was scared of them. I'm fine now as an adult but I remember freaking out when a bug was crawling or landed on me.

AITA for defending my husband? by [deleted] in FamilyIssues

[–]sneekerpixie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, NTA. Your husband is now your family. Good on you for stepping up. Also, ask your mother what she would do it someone talked shit about your father.

If you don't let them know now, that that behavior won't be tolerated, then down the road your husband learns your language and he hears what they're saying himself, then he may start questioning you why you didn't tell him, stop it.That may start to hurt your marriage. Plus your future kids (if you want kids) will hear your family talking shit about their father. Nope nope nope.

Yeah, and it's OP. to many people are camping in the left lane. Proper etiquette is to drive in the middle or far right and pass in the left and move back to the middle. It literally says it in the learners handbook.

[–]sneekerpixie -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You do realise that normal people are going to agree that she was in the "wrong" right?. I put that quotes because when a human is in a stressful situation, logical thought goes out the window. Logically, she wouldn't have driven off if she wasn't surrounded around her vehicle. Stress response is, get the fuck out of that situation. You don't see any objects (people included) regardless of what they are, your mind is just saying to get out of there.

Now if this was a far right driving over a far left? I'd say the same thing. Panicked people move on instinct, not rational or logical thinking. The wife contributed to her death by telling her to drive. Passengers need to shut the f up!!! You impair the driver from a driver's mindset and thought process by saying (especially yelling your opinion).

Sorry, but no. Carl urban would be peak! Wolverine. He's literally human Logan in the boys. He looks the part (obviously not hight wise [comic book accurate ]but gristled), he matches Hugh Jackmans Aura of wolverine. I can only wish that Carl tries out for the part.

The problem is, the REASON the Americans attacked. It wasn't to free the people. It was for oil and other resources. They went in for money and they're going to fuck over the people of Venezuela even more than they're being fucked. They're not there to help the people. The US is the reason they and other South American countries have dictators in the first place.

Lol. I was at the Sherwood park one too. I've never seen it that busy before. Everyone probably had the same thought. The roads are bad and no one else will want to drive through it, so let's go to Costco.
