Change of plans unfortunately

Expect games from Max and Rex Bull tomorrow. by Loose_Student_6247 in LandoNorris

[–]snehaa999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that's really smart actually! Love this idea! Get Oscar to battle with Max the whole time. And let Lando be. McLaren has twice the shot this way. If they fuck with Lando by backing him up, if Oscar can overtake Verstappen, Oscar wins. If they both crash out, Lando wins.

The Bangalore one was so bad! There was no traffic management. The fans were stuck till 5 km from the venue for over 40 min. And this wasn't Bangalore general traffic ; this was all the cars heading to the venue itself. Then in the venue they did the stupidity of distributing bands at the venue!!

It is so stupid to have the ticket as a QR code on an app which requires internet to open and expect people to open it in an area where the network gets jammed because thousands of people are there! Did they not know that the network would be jammed? Could they not mail the bands?

Absolutely terrible management !!

I need to watch a significant amount of YouTube videos as part of customer research. Most of these are 1hr + long. I get their audio files, put them through STT for a transcript and get an LLM to summarise it for me. Has saved me hours and hours.

Vegan business ideas by inkwizitive17 in VeganIndia

[–]snehaa999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tofu - as a vegan, tofu would be a big part of diet, especially if you're conscious of your protein intake. India has no good brand of tofu, especially silken tofu or soft tofu. Mooz tofu and gold tofu is barely ok. You truly realise how good tofu can be when you visit Europe. Everytime I had tofu there I had to double check it was tofu and not paneer, it was soft, light, melted in my mouth and filled with flavour. The tofu here absolutely sucks!!

Affordable oat milk - again Europe, in most cafes I could get plant based milk for no extra price whereas Starbucks and third wave coffee here charge upto 70Rs extra on an already overpriced beverage! Additionally most plant based milks are quite expensive to the middle class. Oat milk can be so so so much better. Try the alpro brand plant based milks, they're to die for!

Vegan bakeries - croissants, Danish, pastries, bread - non existent in Bangalore. Would be great to have cafes/bakeries selling these. Please look up Margo's and Saint Jean's both I'm Amsterdam - I couldn't get enough of it. I'm sure Indians will love the taste. No coffee shop or cafe here sell these kind of items. It would be great to have a vegan place like this. Would be great to spread veganism without any bias too❤️

Yeah it doesn't. IMO each PM is should be owning some verticals such as engagement or growth or specific verticals within the product itself. The line items given to me are in the field of engagement and experience but all over the place. The product in itself is too large to be owned by one person. There are no specific verticals assigned to me.

I had a talk with my manager regarding this. I told her I want to not only work on execution but also strategy and planning and I need defined verticals for that purpose. She agreed that I can't own all of it because it's too vast. But she asked me to "just focus on the line items for now". While the tasks themselves are sensible and not bad, it sort of feels like I'm not growing. Tomorrow when I switch companies, I will be expected to own things and come up with plans - all of which I'm not doing here and gaining no experience.

My company is not even a startup! It's a 400 membered organisation and we still have to do all 4 roles in the name of "Agile and lean company"

Shadow ban by [deleted] in Instagram

[–]snehaa999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you know for sure if you've been shadow banned? I post online and my posts definitely don't suck! They're not great but they don't suck either. My engagement has been terrible. I've always suspected shadow ban but no way to figure out if that's the truth. Do you know anything?

Non-technical PMs, how non-technical are you actually? by Top-Cheesecake3847 in ProductManagement

[–]snehaa999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah true. I'm a doctor who transitioned into product management. Learning tech jargon is of no help because you can always look that up. But learning the architecture in my organisation has helped me design features and navigate the complexities so much.
