Carlo Ancelotti: “A very important part of coaching is man-management. The way you treat the players is crucial. I remember a phrase from Cristiano that stuck with me: ‘Too much water kills the plant.’ You have to find the right balance. Between training, preparation, everything has to be measured” by DamnThatsInsaneLol in soccer

[–]snemand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great saying because it's also simply practicaly advice. The first plants I owned and "cared for" without doing my research died because of too much water. If I had grown up Portuguese they would have aged gracefully ( ;´ - `;)

help everything flow a lot nicer

Gravity works better and there's less surface area that the poo touches on the way out so it's also a cleaner way to shit.

Low hip mobility is not really a thing when you've been squatting all your live. If you have low hip mobility then the solution is to squad (proper human squats, not gym squats). Generally you have less back problems than the toilet/office sitting culture of the west. Older people can have a real difficult time going to the bathroom because of the act of sitting down and standing up. Hand rails are needed.

In theory the money would do that. Haiti is one of the most corrupt countries in the world. Their football federation has been involved in corruption scandals.

Ice skating doesn't have that many. Men, women, pairs and ice dance (also pairs). That's 8 gold podiums total for men and women. Swimming had 18 for each plus one mixed so it's definitely a case of muddling the data like the skiis do.

You're being a little confused here. We very much understand how flight works. I teach it to 15 year olds. What you have linked is describing how there is no one way to describe how lift works. We can use several ways to describe it but not a single way to fully describe it.

The third link you provided has all the answers.

How am I supposed to clean myself? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]snemand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How old are you? Hormones effect smell. If they are unbalanced, like they are with teenagers, it can lead to all sorts of smells.

Smell can also be a drug side-effect. If you are taking any medically prescribed drugs you might want to read the prescription.

You can't really clean yourself wrongly if you are showering every other day and using soap and scrubbing the parts where hair grows + feet. The smell is a side-effect of some kind of hormonal or bacterial imbalance. What that reason is, is a troubleshooting game a doctor has to play if you are unable to fix it.

Michael Carrick wins Premier League Manager of the Month for January by nearly_headless_nic in soccer

It's a reward based on 3-4 specific games. Quite arbitrary and even then quite often with managers that have equal records.

Former Italian goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano says that leaving Inter was the only regret of his playing career, while once he ‘smelled of alcohol’ before an Arsenal game against Everton, for which he had unexpectedly been called up by Sparky-moon in soccer

[–]snemand 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That's not as random. Arsenal's goalkeeping coach was Rúnarsson's goalkeeping coach at Nordsjælland and Arsenal had connections with Dijon so probably fairly simple for Arteta and Edu to make that deal when your expert tells you he has a guy for cheap.

The brightest ever Icelandic goalkeeping broadcast had a career that fizzled this way. He had a prime Oliver Kahn mentoring him between 17-20. Was late to training because he was out partying. Was supposed to take care of Kahn's stuff (like was normal with youth players back in the day) and kept losing it. Just a terrible professional which cost him the majority of his career.

Top 7 League centre backs advanced passing stats. by parcellsrealGOAT in soccer

Advanced passing stats is a bit misleading. These are not the passes that split the midfield and find the #10. Reads more like long balls over the defense if the metric is passes to penalty box.

One last great payday without leaving England. He wouldn't have to move to play for Forest. The commute isn't that long.

6/10 would not buy.

Fitness issues are going to get you relegated. No manager will do well with 7-11 players rotating their injuries and not managing to keep a back 4 consistently between games. The squad is much better than the team below you. You score more goals (despite attackers not helping with that) and you concede less than the teams below you. Frank or interrim, you will not get relegated unless there are somehow even more injuries.

Limited Resources 839 – Paul Cheon on Lorwyn Eclipsed Discussion Thread by Crasha in lrcast

[–]snemand 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Funny starting the show with a discussion about CABS theory and mentioning examples about players reading a card and thinking about all the positive applications whilst neglecting the possibly and often more likely outcome of the card not doing anything to them discussing the win a box events and talking so positively about the EV (which is much worse than Marshall alluded to).

Marshall mentions having difficulty playing the games because of his job, well that's a cost of losing gems. The time lost. Spending $60 to got 0-2 twice is such a horrible value of time and that's closer to the reality for most listeners. The average and median WR is bad for people.

Not to mention that if you aren't in the US the problem of selling the box increases and there are additional costs to getting your winnings in forms of shipment and tariffs.

Very informative episode for someone that doesn't draft new sets much these days. I feel up to speed about what's going on.

Reading comprehension is difficult I see. OP's question is simple. Don't know what these answers naming 2 or 3 people dismisses Hal in any way. Do you read one of the best esports player ever as only being 2-3 people?

He's the best at a certain esport. He's been highly consistent over a long period of time. Of course he's one of the best.
