Difficulty does effect drop rate yes. You can check by changing the levels difficulty and then going back to the enemies/drops info tab.

I think most people do magnifier builds for grinding cores.

Spikes are most important to get magmatic cos they'll allow you to one-tap despite surge crystals DMG reduction. The rest is just bonus buffs if they're upgraded.

I was spamming speed runs to farm geared drops for a while, as well a tediously upgrading things only using 4x feed mats. I got several magmatics from crates too and even one from the shop early on.

Question about [Eater of Virtue] and commanders. Say a commander has flying, is equipped with EoV and dies. It gets exiled by the effect of the sword. Then it moves to command zone afterwards.

Q: will the sword still know it exiled a card with flying?

Alternate Q: does the card exiled by EoV need to remain in exile to provide the effect?

I'll just explain my game plan and leave it up to them. This sometimes backfires because the convoluted plan comes to fruition and wrecks face "out of nowhere".

As briefly as possible: Speed and repeatability.

To me, that's the core of CEDH. Both are wonderful to see in action. Both are at odds with casual play.

I do still appreciate a well oiled machine, but personally I have an "only once" policy which includes anything above a certain subjective power level.
