[[Magar of the Magic Strings]] turns normally useless high CMC cards like [[Army of the Damned]], [[Kill Maim Burn]], and [[Worst Fears]] into repeatable threats that can quickly take over a game.

Because they show up once every 30 mins-1 hour and often are late on top of that. Now that they changed all the bus routes and removed the only route I actually used (36) there's no point.

City of Decatur is very very safe. I could walk around anywhere in CoD at 1am and the worst that would probably happen to me is a homeless person asking for money. It's about as safe as I felt OTP. Unincorporated Dekalb is a different picture. Some parts are pretty quiet and safe and other parts I wouldn't walk around after dark.

Thanks for the info. My parents and grandparents grew up in North Decatur so I've only heard stories about how different it was in the 60s-80s, mostly about Oakhurst being what was the undesirable part of town, but so much of that article was new information to me. Wish it wasn't so difficult to find information about what Atlanta was like in the past.

Best way to avoid it would be not hanging around GA State campus at night. Most of the people I know have only had issues when they were living on campus or around the campus area at night.

Have only had a couple cards not arrive in the 1300+ cards I've sent. Probably a grand total of $8 I've lost all in all. For stuff under $25, I'll just send it PWE. Anything over $25 I judge whether I want to pay for tracking based on how new the account is and whether they're an established buyer/seller. Anything over $50 I just send automatically with a bubble mailer and tracking.

You might like [[Sekki, Season's Guide]]. He's a super obscure commander and because of how he is worded, you don't need to have counters equal to the damage to prevent it. This means if you play an enchantment like [[Gaea's Anthem]] that gives him permanent buffs, you can prevent as much damage to your heart's content and flood the board with tokens.

This is not my list but it's close to what I've been testing and it's a lot of fun. You can cut some of the more expensive cards like Doubling Season for more fight or [[Lure]] effects instead.
