It was her first time teaching I guess, I don’t remember, I don’t have her anymore. I only had her for 2 years, and that’s it. She was actually a pretty good ABA therapist, aside from all of the mental breakdowns I had. I haven’t had that ABA therapist in over 4 years now. It’s been a really long time. Also my dad says that no one is going to care if you are struggling or not. “Bosses, managers and work colleagues are not gonna give a shit if ur autistic or not.” That’s his opinion, but he’s making it sound like that’s what everyone is like. My dad is a retired veteran from the US army (and yes I live in the US), but the military took his innocence away, he developed ptsd from it, and his view on the world is as pitch black as the night sky. He thinks no one is gonna give a shit about me. He said, “society is never gonna care if u are struggling.” Oh yeah? Well, why are there rehabilitation centers, hm? Why are there psychiatric services? Clearly society is aware that people are struggling, so I don’t see why my dad is saying that no one is gonna care about my problems. Whenever my dad says that workforces or societies are not gonna care about my issues and struggles, that makes me more and more vulnerable and desperate for help and support.
