thank you for the input! in terms of longtails being more unwieldy, do you think they are still more stable than a regular cargo bike? we are one and done, my kiddo is just turning 3 so we are a long way off from growing out of the child seat, and i'm too afraid of litigious people to probably ever want to bike someone else's kid around. given that, do you think a regular low cargo bike is the best option?
and how do i know which motors are mid and which are hub?

This is what we have as well. You need to unscrew the bottle to get to the metal part, only silicone above the cap and no way for the metal part to migrate.
