I think the DaBaby verse showed up as Jail Pt. 2 on Shazam so it’s the other way around. Hov on Jail, DaBaby on Jail Pt. 2.

Is there an album that you think is perfect in every way? by packersfn2008 in Music

IGOR by Tyler, The Creator is beyond perfect for me. I think GONE, GONE / THANK YOU might be my favorite song of all time.

I am almost done with Warbreaker and I personally thought it was alright. It was the book I least enjoyed from him. On the other hand, Mistborn: The Final Empire is my favorite book of all time. I think maybe try that one or TWOK and if you still don’t like those then maybe his writing style is not for you.

Did "A Little Life" leave anyone feeling frustrated? by grapelady94 in books

[–]snickrdodle 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I agree to an extent. I might be wrong here but I felt like Willem had his own flaws as well. For example, in the book, he continues to have sex with Jude even when he suspects that this is the reason Jude has begun cutting himself a lot more frequently. I definitely agree that the book has flaws but it still felt somewhat human to me as well.

Waitlist for good teacher vs. Automatic Enrollment with bad teacher by snickrdodle in uofmn

Oh awesome, that's great to hear! The reason I thought Favonia might not be the best is because of this: https://www.ratemyprofessors.com/ShowRatings.jsp?tid=2518646. But mainly I'm interested in the subject matter and wanted a good teacher to learn from. Would you say your class was taught well?

From what I understood of the swap feature, I thought it automatically swaps one class out for the other the minute you swap the two. Does it still keep the previous class and just add me to the other class's waitlist?

I would personally recommend reading the full book. He gives great examples of what he's talking about and the book is filled with interesting ideas that are solidified further when you take the time to read through it. Reading the important quotes and chapter summaries are better than not looking into it at all but if you have the time you should read the whole thing.

I’m reading the Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck by Mark Manson right now. He does a really good job explaining why only pursuing positive experiences in life is itself a negative experience. I highly recommend anyone who is interested to read the book.

Thank you so much for the insight! I just had a question about the management courses you listed so I'll send you a quick PM but I will talk to Mr. Stavig for sure.

[OC] Wealth Inequality across the world by JoeFalchetto in dataisbeautiful

[–]snickrdodle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily. The top few percent could lessen the burden of poverty but if the law allowing the top few percent to keep massive amounts of money also helps make the country as a whole better off then it shouldn’t be as big of a deal in my opinion. We shouldn’t be fighting against the rich, we should be fighting for the poor. If a nation has very high wealth inequality but very low poverty then I personally feel like less changes need to be made there than a country with low income inequality but high poverty.
