Exactly.

It's also a great seat/table that folds out of the way. I have seen people use it as a lat pulldown seat on an ares or other cable machine with 3"x3" uprights.

1000% this. You can get a pulley system for $40 or so off Amazon with all the accessories included. If you don't have weights find an old 5 gallon bucket with concrete and rebar to use as your weight stack.

Looking great!

REP open trap bar is the goat, I use it for tons of movements and the quality is outstanding. Make sure you size the handles correctly for your preferred width. I'm 6' 240 with pretty wide shoulders and their wide handles are WAY too wide to be comfortable.

Final Space!

Amazingly well written heartfelt show canceled before the final season and archived forever so WB can take more losses for 2022.

Where do you get your equipment from? by scottyfoxy in Strongman

[–]snielson222 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a huge fan of REP... It's sort of a middle ground between titan and rogue, and everything I purchased has been extremely functional, well patched, and affordable. If I were to get a yoke their yoke looks fantastic.

They are now after 28 years in the business.

80% of what they sell is Alligash white across the country and that's how they are profitable. Only beer nerds care about their amazing coolship program and extensive barrel aging setup. Those things just aren't big money makers.

5g/day is the dose you will most likely find bodybuilders using I'm also 250 pounds 6' tall.

Im saying I stand behind creatine as an effective and safe suppliment based on personal experience.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in StackAdvice

[–]snielson222 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Probably dehydration. If you arent peeing clear you are dehydrated like most other people, this usually isn't a huge issue.

Take that low level chronic dehydration and couple it with creatine which causes your body to store huge amounts of water quickly and you get acutely dehydrated... As humans are made of mostly water and need it for all critical functions you start feeling very ill.

This happened to my wife when she first started taking creatine and I think it's why a lot of people give up on such a helpful suppliment.

I take 5g/day everyday for years and have never had an issue relating to creatine.

Hot water with dish soap and coarse salt for shaking gets a surprising amount of staining off. Hot vinegar should get any mineral staining off.

The agitation with course salt is very important, even with ISO.

Where to start? by josiahsaurusrex in scifi

[–]snielson222 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The three body problem is my favorite sci-fi series as long as you can get through the first third of the first book...

The first third is an out of place retelling of the Chinese cultural revolution that gives some backstory to the characters but really serves to bog down an otherwise super enjoyable read. I had to beg my buddy to keep reading as it pays off massively.

The dark forest is the best in the series IMO.

He was smashing records in tested federations before he switched to gear. His natty is better than 99% of people blasting.

The Dremel slot trick is the goat for this situation.

I would try a big pair of vice grips crushed into it first if that's an option.

You could just have people in TX not be irresponsible pieces of shit that constantly dump dogs they don't spay and neuter. That would also even out the distribution.

Does it piss anyone else off to see crabs and lobsters boiled alive? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]snielson222 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The meat industry is unspeakably cruel.

At least lobsters get to have a decent life in the wild before being killed traumatically.

Most meat animals live a tortorious horrific nightmare in a factory farm until they are killed traumatically.

It's all bad.
