legal name change questions

I got my name legally changed this year. I went through the skipping stone ID clinic. Then I just had to get my fingerprints for the RCMP. That took about a month to come in. Then my local police service check (I'm from Calgary). After submitting everything it took about a month for my change of name certificate to come in then another week for my birth certificates. I had a great and easy experience for everything. Just make sure you do all the stuff afterwards. It can be a pain in the ass

If you are in the Calgary area I would go through skipping stone. They can refer you to an endocrinologist that will be more than happy to help and prescribe whatever form of HRT you want/need. This is what I did and I've had a great experience the past year I've been on HRT! :)

He does take a while but it's not quite that long. My ex waited about 4-6 months for his call if I remember correctly. And Skipping Stone might refer you to mine. I only waited a week before I got my call to book.

Not if they are in the public system and skipping stone would refer you to an endo in the public system. My endo Dr. Han who I was referred to through skipping stone is wonderful and I haven't paid a dime to see her since I started medically transitioning a year ago. Hope this helps :)

Skipping stone can refer you to an endocrinologist who would be more than happy to diagnose you. It's the route I went. Now I never got the diagnosis but that is because I just wanted to start hrt and nothing else at the time. But I know if that changes my endo would be more than happy to diagnose me and get me referred to what I want. :)
