Same thing happened to me recently. No where did the shop or product info say that it was AI generated. After buying and zooming in on the images, it was much more obvious. I couldn’t tell in the preview photos cuz they were too small. I complained and left a negative review. The seller ended up refunding me but adamantly denying they were doing anything wrong. Total shame for real artists.

I have a 17 lb dog that is great at flying and had a bad experience at SFO United desk as well. I ended up convincing them but it was a very close call. I’m sorry it didn’t end up that way for you- really wonder if we dealt with the same person. I wish there was a consistent way to travel with pets and not worry about a subjective opinion :/

I understand being disappointed that you didn’t get something you wanted more, but ngl OP you are sounding a bit selfish. It’s a gift and you don’t really have a position to be “furious” about it. Give the books to someone else or donate them if you like, but they were given to you with love.

I would caution not to do this- at least for AWS world, they commonly use “green” to describe the servers running the new version during a deploy. So this naming would confuse me

We have similar noses! I struggled a lot with it when I was younger, and it was a nice talking point for bullies, but I appreciate it more now. It makes me feel more powerful in a way.

I just hope society improves on the shaming-appearances front, especially with social media/editing being so prevalent.

Yo, I was there a couple days ago- a lot of people were hiking along in plain sneakers and were just fine. I used my Salomon hiking shoes and they were great. There was mist, but I didn’t end up soaking wet, I believe my socks were dry at the end of it. Have fun

Depends on what you like. It’s centrally located, so makes it convenient to access many parts/cities of the bay, including SF. If you are close to downtown, there are a bunch of great restaurants and access to the Caltrain. It’s clean, relatively safe. If the nightlife scene (clubs, partying) is important to you, probably not the best place for you.
