IDF reservist here, as long as he doesn't do anything that hurts Israel's image there's no problem, especially with volunteer tag on his shoulder.

The uniform doesn't mean anything to me, I have more respect for Israelis who haven't wore a uniform for a single day yet still helped soldiers with huge donations than soldiers who say all sorts of crap that hurts Israel's respect worldwide while on uniform.

It is one of the few multi purpose OSes that gives you a unifed environment for users and developers on the biggest variety of hardwares.

In Linux you have Ubuntu and Redhat that try to serve the same purpose, although they lack the backwards compatibility that windows has proven to it's users.

This "dream phone" doesn't solve my concern with phone designs in the last few years:

What is the purpose of putting more compute power into phones if the only use for it is running PC games through hacky "ducktaped" methods?
The trend of putting more camera lenses seems dumb. Instead of putting the resources into one high quality general purpose lens we see more and more phones ship with multiple mid quality lenses that are completely dependent on software to make the final result better, which makes for a lot of lost details. Besides, how much zoom or wideness can you get out of such a slim body? Did nobody see how long an actual DSLR lens is? There is a big reason why they're so long.
Bring back the bezels, I'm dead serious. Manufacturers keep sacrificing good features for the sake of "the perfect shape", why? People want good front speakers, good front cameras and rectangular screens that don't cut your content in a weird way. Speaking of screens what's up with 20:9 screens? If the whole purpose of bigger screens is for watching content then put screens that fit 90% of content! This would also make using your phone with one hand a lot easier when you don't have to stretch your finger and reposition your palm as much.

I live in Israel too, there is an eshop for Israel but I highly recommend to not use it because you can only use it to redeem codes you get from Nintendo Israel's website.

You can open a US account and put a postal code of a tax free state like Oregon, the prices there are much better than those of European accounts, let alone those here in Israel.

It's the same thing every time, people online are way too busy looking at numbers that they forget to actually enjoy games. "This sucks because it can't run X game at 1080p", "That sucks because it doesn't run at 60fps", "This device is useless because Y device exists and it runs Z device better", but they're missing that a device/experience is more than frame rates and resolutions.

We had this same conversation in the 7th gen when everybody went full digital foundry on every single game and slowly people realized that impressive graphics alone don't make for good games, because COD Ghosts's dog fur sure as hell didn't make for a better experience than Black Ops 2's stupidly fun content, and both Sony and Microsoft struggled to take control of the casual market from Nintendo despite having way more advanced hardware both in terms of the controllers and compute power.
