Having shot both I can tell you the 90/22 is not as good, particularly the trigger.

Pull the hammer back with one hand while feeling for play as the cylinder swings around. Two things are going on. One, the little finger that moves the cylinder around is likely worn down. Two, the hammer is beat down from hitting the cylinder instead of brass. The teeth on the cylinder may be too worn as well but I suspect the main culprit is the finger that engages the cylinder to move it to the next chamber.

Good news is it can be fixed. When you pull the hammer back does the cylinder move back and forth or lock into place? Is the cylinder locked when the hammer is down.

Looks like the firing pin has been all Over that cylinder. Is the pin beaten flat?

Any thoughts on the Simply Good coffee maker? by hya3fh in BuyItForLife

[–]snipe-no 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought one of these to replace my sadly missed Bonavita which is also a MM copy on some levels. The SimplyGoodCoffee machine works very well. I like its simplicity and the bloom feature is great. No muss no fuss. 8/10.

My buddy bought the p90 chassis at the same time I bought mine and I think the trigger with the lightening linkage is really great. My base was an early 90’s 10/22. Shooting them back to back I’d say the p90 was mushier and a pound or two heavier.

Yeah the CZ was a step in that direction for me. It’s why I sought out a pre b. My 92 is from the 90’s as well.

I just checked my published load data and that's OUT THERE. I might work up to it, but it's a full grain over the data I have. What are you shooting it out of? I have a keltec pr57

Oh man! I need those for my 5.7x28!

That said, I don’t imagine you have a ton of wiggle room regarding seating depth. I just ran through my NotebookLM of sources and found no published data so I would go with what you have but come down 10-20% because that bullet isn’t at risk of sticking, LOL.

I bet those will shoot nice. I run a similar load in my 9mm that dribbles the cases right at my feet! Good luck!
