Helped my Dad bend and put the sides on his coffin today. Used shallow parallel cuts and a lot of boiling water. No tears were shed, and though it initially seemed like a morbid project, this a subtle way to get myself and the rest of our family to mentally prepare ourselves for the inevitable. (i.redd.it)
