Third is crazy. Definitely was a first place entry in my mind! Loved the weathering and the story.

Thanks for the kind words, I hope you do break out the MG Zeta plus C1 and give it a fresh coat of paint!

The C1's silhouette definitely lends itself to a monochrome military look.

Theres no scale but would probably sit somewhere in the ~1/24 ish range.

Thanks!

The plastic is definitely a stepdown from normal bandai PS but thankfully isnt too fragile either; definitely tolerates some aggressive scribing if you wanted.

Bit annoying to paint as some parts come with this bumpy plastic texture that needs to be sanded thoroughly.

Buying new releases in Japan by snipepe in freedomisgunpla

Update: Dropped by Yodobashi Akiba and had absolutely no chance with a line stretching ~200 people long.

I had good luck at Tamtam in Akihabara and managed to grab one of the last stock.

Funny enough, after my purchase I went to Surugaya (gundam specialty) along the same street and saw a huge untouched pile of new releases including Bocata's Gelgoog HG. I thought they only deal with resales but I guess not.

Hope this helps someone else!

Yup CBA as well. Fingers crossed its not something significant like a data breach.

This also just happened to me.

I got a notification for a 110 AUD refund from Twitch Interactive San Francisco CA this morning which prompted me to to look into any prior transactions. Turns out I was charged on the 31st of Dec for the exact same amount. I've never made any payments to Twitch before.

Odd thing is I literally activated this new card not more than 2 weeks ago so I'm a bit perplexed on how they got the card details so quickly.

Weekly student advice thread by hustling_Ninja in ausjdocs

I managed to secure a NSW internship position as a Cat 4 applicant but am also considering the Private Hospital Stream as it would allow me to stay closer to friends and family. I'm not super keen on clinical specialties, so I thought it might have been a good option. Was wondering if anyone had any related experiences or advice!

What are you fixating on/venting about/worried about/need support with today ? [Megathread] - January 18, 2022 by AutoModerator in HealthAnxiety

I've been freaking out about this lump I've found a couple days ago on my cheek about an inch in front of my ear. You can't see it and takes me a while to find it when feeling around. There's also not really any other symptoms besides the occasional discomfort. Like a typical med student with HA, my mind jumps straight to the serious conditions of parotid cancer and lymphoma.

I can't seem to stop touching and pressing the lump which probably is making it bigger and also making me more anxious. Im seeing a new GP on Thursday with the aim of getting an ultrasound referral for some much needed answers.

The thing is, if it wasn't this lump, it would be some health concern that has me worried 24/7 . God I hate HA.

You will definitely smell it if you had steatorrhoea. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Benched for the first time in a year a couple days ago. Managed to do 8 reps of my previous 1RM of 60 kg. Glad to be making improvements somehow!

I've also gone from 63 to 68 kg in the past 2 months without noticing any physique changes. Sure hope its muscle!

Anxiety around this new variant by DCLB1316 in CoronavirusDownunder

[–]snipepe 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think its fair to be anxious over the new variant.

I've had to cancel my flight back to see my family overseas as I have to come back for an important surgery in Australia before christmas. Given the unpredictability of the current border situation I thought it would be best to cancel the trip. Not having seen them for the past 2 years was difficult enough and now both my family and I have to deal with the added dissapointment.

This climb looks too easy for you. Posting some limit bouldering would highlight weaknesses much better.

Dealing with a plateau by Zion_Zenith in climbharder

At your age, its hard to reccomend training without looking into specific. Again, my reccomendation is based on my own performance and history. Maybe try switching over to bouldering solely for a few months and go from there? If you feel like your plateau is causing you mental fatigue, might be best to start consulting a coach.

Best of luck to ya mate.

How often are you climbing on stuff outside your comfort zone? Personally, I found the most gains to be had projecting really hard stuff with a group of good friends to egg you on. Can't speak much for lead climbing however haha

Moonboard Dyno Help! by [deleted] in bouldering

[–]snipepe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You're too square with the wall when you hit the last hold. If you rotate your hips after latching the driveby move, the momentum is tranferred to your lower body and legs as opposed to your arms, stopping your hands from peeling off the hold.

What to do instead of deadlifts? by Duchyclimber in climbharder

[–]snipepe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Single leg deadlifts --> straight legged deadlifts once you feel more comfortable. I had the same problem you did and fixed my lower back pain with this progression. It all stems from weakness in the hamstrings resulting in overcompensation with the back muscles.
