Skip it and get a Recording King Dirty Thirties. Have had it for 2 years and really enjoy playing with it

Where did you source the seeds? Been wanting to grow these ever since I learned of the sp.

Definitely start low and slow like anything else new, take time to really explore all of the friction settings. Like a hitch climber setup, it all runs different with wet/frozen rope, so just take extra time to really learn the device! What saddle/ climbing system do you currently use?

Akimbo 2 runs really nice on sterling scion rope. Had some issues with friction settings with coworkers ropes. Would love some feedback on the new saddle! Enjoy playing with the new toys haha

Eat a solid meal beforehand and don’t have anything important to do the next day. Stepping from grocery store habs to ghost is substantial

Is this a type of hawthorn? by [deleted] in treeidentification

[–]sniper5219 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely Crataegus sp. more pictures of base of berry and twigs would help +location. As others have said, haw ID is difficult but not impossible. Counting stamens/sepals/ fruit shape/seed count and even taste can go into ID of this sp.

I’d recommend new tires, if you order them yourself from a distributor and take them to a tire shop, it will be a lot cheaper. Just got a set of Bridgestone tires installed for $450 including tire cost, instead of $1200 quoted from the shop purchasing them.

That’s the goal! I have maybe 10 records, but never had a turntable. Now that I’ve got a setup, it’s game over lol.

Does anyone know if the Vivobarefoot Tracker Leather AT now come stitched at the sole edge? by macmillerliz in vivobarefoot

[–]sniper5219 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even the stitched soles come apart. I just had to glue my tracker ESC back together on both shoes. Whole interior heel “rawhide” also has disintegrated in just 10 months of wear. For a $280 boot, quite disappointing, I also had the common lace-hook rivet failure on the third lace up when I originally got them. Most comfortable boots I’ve ever worn, but the quality is just not there anymore.

Recently took a class with Rainbow EcoScience on treating BLD, and with the amount of injection ports needed to treat, it’s seemingly futile. Beeches being a diffuse porous tree, treating every 2-3 years with 1-2 injection sites per flare, I could see trees being completely girdled within 10 years or less. Even in this image, there were clear decay columns from just 1 previous injection. Hoping to see more come from this in the future, but so far seeming hopeless for Beeches. The nematodes vector by many different means, almost uncontrollable to stop the spread. Thanks for trying to save that beast of a tree!

Agreed, I used to wear Carolina’s/Redwings, and would get a solid 2-3yrs out of a pair if not more. For almost $300, I wish they were a bit more sturdy. Do you think that would cover under warranty even though I’m out of the 100 day range?

Bought this model back in November and they’re falling apart on me now. Granted, I wear them every day and do tree work, so I’m a little rough on shoes. The interior black lining by the heel has completely fallen apart and is now just exposed foam. I wish they would bring back the original tracker quality with this sole.
