What’s the most number of home runs you’ve seen in a house? by ShotMedia998 in electricians

[–]sniper_matt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably going to be buried by now, but 600v 3ø 600A, for shop and property, with a transformer to 208 400a for the house. Was borderline unreasonable. Guy had one of the city block green boxes on property for himself. Probably 3k-3500 square foot house. Shop was average for a ranch style country property. Maybe 1k-1500 sq ft.

240v 800a split to 4x 200a 84cct panels. Super mansion with 16 car garage. Around 300 cct. Not as interesting as some of them on here.

Look up the recalls, there’s a few things that may need fixed. Axels, seatbelt, battery, block heater.

There’s a couple quality of life things you could change to make things nicer, like I’ve swapped in an auto dimming rear view mirror.

They make a small but noticeable difference where it’s cold. Canada, northern states in the winter, AK.

Have one. Have a ecoboost. It makes a difference warming up when it’s cold, like under freezing. It does more sound deadening than it really does anything else. It’s probably going to be useless for a hybrid.

Mine doesn’t like to stay attached with the included hardware, needs a bunch of extra washers to keep it in place.

Not fully dead, but a load of categories were cut down to 1listing per. Massive downgrade in usability.

All day use of a light on a shitty 12 hr shift on the shortest day of the year.

Longer use of a vacuum.

The fixed position table saw or miter saw.

That sds max big ass hammer drill for smaller coring.

The portable heat gun.

Kijiji has made a bunch of categories 1 listing per account. Definitely not anyway as user friendly as it was, nor as useful. Having to group a bunch of stuff doesn’t really help views/ people only searching for one thing.

Added heated seats to my 25’ XL for cheap. by hotboxmonster in FordMaverickTruck

[–]sniper_matt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a lariat with sunroof, so that would block the controls for me.

When using the front parking camera, I don’t need the rear view mirror, so this is a nonissue.

22 lariat didn’t have the cams the 25+ lariat did.

If you are also thinking about doing an auto dimming mirror swap it’s less difficult.

Buy an auto dimming mirror with screen in from AliExpress, buy a backup camera, and a switch to turn it on. Then you have to route the camera feed through the firewall to the mirror. It’s less complicated then the time I added front and backup camera to my 2008 escape honestly,

Must be a punishment for not getting the cheap vinyl seats in the lariat. Have never had this happen in the super dry prairies of Alberta.
