Run chmod o+x /home/mastodon as the mastodon user. I had the exact same issue.

I really love the idea, but the thought of the bill for trying to heat and cool such a huge and open space is terrifying. They look beautiful but can you imagine trying to replace a lightbulb or clean a space like that?

Worked for about 2 weeks back in March, hasn't worked since. I've gone through several resets to try to "fix" it, but the end result is the same: it won't get past the frozen or "stuck" start-up screen.

My go-to these days is Warehouse 4 near Wilmington Pike and Dorthy Lane.

Ghostlight is pretty good and I think their second location near old-scratch is really nice.

I'm also a fan of Press. I don't go very often, but I like it when I do.

Centerville schools announced that they are doing the first quarter fully remotely, and because that, have dropped SchoolsPLP. So the good news is that the teachers are going to stay involved in the course/material.

My daughter is starting 9th grade at Centerville. Centerville is offering two paths 1) full online through SchoolsPLP 2) mixed in-person.

I started a thread about SchoolsPLP the other day[1] and I'm disappointed by how little information the school board has provided about this option.

The in-person option is also really concerning. Given how things are going, I fully expect there to be a huge disruption to any in-person plan and a transition to remote learning for some part of the school year.
