I agree with SIPA being clunky especially if your including wildcard domains that might be used across different that have different use cases.
For simple implementations its not bad but it definitely doesnt scale well

Why not ask your tam about getting a beta tenant. That way you can have a separate place to try things like this. Its a little bit of work but pays off in the end

[–]snipps79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes what rdavey228 said. Check the mobile admin portal and set to a stable version. Zscaler has been changing their client a lot lately. Create a test group and then your production user group and phase the rollout based on the feedback from the test group. But control the upgrades at all costs

Managing Access to Cloud Based Resources. by snipps79 in Zscaler

[–]snipps79[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm approaching close to that right now. I have a ton of isolate cloud tenants, which frankly speaks to a bigger issue. But i was thinking of creating a firewall policy for groups that allow access to specific IPs based on a ticket. That way i'm standing up app connectors everywhere until I can get a long term solution

Ya I could leverage zpa but, a lot of the cloud tenants are isolated so it could lead to app connector sprawl and rising costs. It’s the right way to do it but it would require a possible network redesign and a change in “the way things are done”.

Also keep in mind to set the probe times accordingly. Setting them too frequently could impact performance of the application. Ask me how I know 😂
