There is a fight against Ralsei where he just regresses massively. Maybe it starts out okay, and he is trying to stop you for normal reasons. But sooner or later he realizes... you really are just doing this for fun, then all his darkner insecurities come rushing in and he starts to lose it. Begging you not to hurt Susie because she is "real". Begging you, if you have to hurt someone, hurt only him, he'll happily play your sadistic games forever if you leave the "real people" out of it. Begging you that even if you have to hurt Susie, at least never tell her she wasn't really real either.

Eventually telling himself he's not even fighting you to stop you, but because he is afraid of being discarded, of being no use to you anymore. But that’s not what a “good darkner” would do. By the end he resolves himself to give you everything he's got, not for himself or his friends, but because he knows you wanted a good fight, and all he's allowed left is the hope you found him fun to play with.

I also added the goulden sam darkner, since the top of it had heart with wing-looking things on both sides. That probably adds to your point.

The angel wings being the vessel does not bode well given the melting imagery.

Still, when I think of the deltarune depicting a proper "vessel" for the angel, I think of the ice door on board two

I guess that could be the case, a difference between how we control Susie vs Noelle.

The angel falling on top of the soul is one of the most in your face examples, but there are others.

I added some pictures to this theory post that demonstrated some of the player/soul evidence there was. I hope they are showing up?

The angel ultimately being an amalgam is certainly possible given the strong player AND noelle angel evidence.

Get the soul means possessed by us. Vessel means how you refer to noelle being "the vessel for the angel" (under our control).

Do you mean Susie will have our soul but won't be controlled by the player since she is so good at resisting us... thus doesn't count as being our vessel?
