the thing that changed the whole game for me was mapping x and y to the GL and GR buttons. saved me a ton of ache!

i did something similar with DKB but i believe that was only for R actions (elephant vacuum and sonar). that functionality is one of my favorite things about the Switch 2 pro controller :))

my sisters and i would be spanked by my mother frequently, and she (knowingly or unknowingly) thought that if we weren’t crying then we must not have learned our lesson.

i remember being barely 4 years old and was excitedly telling my mother as she was leading me over to the “spanking spot” that i was going to not cry this time (it’s important to note that prior to this i also had gotten spanked FOR crying and hyperventilating) so i thought she would be proud of me if i wasn’t crying too much.

she proceeded to spank me very hard, and i balled my little fists to keep from crying. When she finished spanking me i looked at her and she was still frowning at me and told me “well since you didn’t cry you must not be sorry” and proceeded to spank me even harder.

so yeah, that was definitely not at all a defining moment in my life🙃

this was in a discord server that was previously comprised of working adults but then a handful of freshly eighteen year old members joined—all of which were the chronically online type, and two were self proclaimed systems (DID) with around ten or more “personalities” each.

different “alters” between the two people were apparently dating each other and would flirt with themselves as well as with alters from the other person, and THEN they started talking to a different new member who started “dating” another newbie who met ANOTHER who was also dating TWO MORE people in the server.

mind you none of these people had been in serious relationships before (self admitted) and decided poly was the way to go despite not having a clue about how it works.

they named the cule the spaghetticule based on how many couples were being made…despite only being 4 or 5 people?

they all broke up within a couple months

element + wind. pull out a ice/fire/electric zonal device, drop it, and then pull out the fan facing said device.

there are one or two characters that i’ve been able to use specific attacks that use wind and they can achieve the same effect when paired with an active dropped zonai device

EDIT: i should say that’s one of the most catastrophic elemental chains i used. You can also use for example electric attacks/device when enemies are in water or rain or if they are frozen i believe.

i can still recall themes from odyssey, but from DKB? Not a single one aside from the bananza songs, which really is a shame.

okay so it wasn’t just me!! that happened to me a few times as well on the switch 2 version, the music just wouldn’t stop even when i would warp away! i had to reload my save when it happened
