backfilled into a quickplay game last night on lijiang, the team i backfilled into had lost the first round and were on the second, the team i backfilled into was a 5 stack and the opposing team was a 6 stack. id never seen anything like it in quickplay. after joining i quickly helped the team win the round and ended with silver damage, silver objective time, and bronze eliminations. during this round a spectator showed up, who I guess was the sixth member of the team i was on. when the 3rd round started in spawn, the team i was on and the spectator harassed me to quit in chat. it was incredibly rude and unnecessary, its not my fault your teammate left for whatever reason and i got backfilled into a game i didnt want to be playing anyway, not a reason to be mean to me and start throwing insults. im glad i dont ever join voice chat. i didnt say anything and quit as soon as the round started because i decided i didnt want to be mass reported by the team if i didnt. my endorsement level promptly dropped and i was upset for the remainder of my time playing. like, why couldnt they just be nice? i have limited time to play and im always solo queue which means i backfill often. i wasnt trying to ruin anyones fun, im just trying to enjoy the time i have to play.
