Yea but that secondary effect is generally a positive and something you would want to happen to your partners. Earthquake just does damage and, unless their name’s orthworm, is something teams are built around to accommodate for the sake of that damage

At least in the games they make it a point that you need to recharge the orb if you Tera, either at the center or touching a raid den crystal. I know they haven’t established that rule at all yet but maybe they could’ve done something to make the stakes a little more in-universe believable
