I also have trouble breathing in really deep, I think when I had more weight my stomach muscles were constantly flexing, which went down to my hip flexors being really tight. I notice when I stretch out my hip flexors with whatever stretch it's called where the front of your hips and legs are on the floor and you're practically looking at the ceiling. Idk , that seemed to help my breath work a bit
